Location: Griffith University Film School, South Brisbane, Queensland.
We will focus on creating realistic performance for stage and screen in a fun and supportive environment. This is a great course to add to a terrific technique to your skillset or lay the foundations for your work as an actor.
In the Monday night course we with apply inspiring Uta Hagen exercises to scenes. Together we will find what is important to make a scene believable for you and thrilling to watch. Subsequently, we will work to discover how to be you in the given circumstances of every scene you perform.
Participants in this course have gone onto work professionally with the confidence and skill for a fruitful career.
The classes are for dedicated students of acting to can safely and effectively grow their craft. My influences are Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, Larry Moss, Ivana Chubbuck, Eric Morris and Meisner. I love to help actors create rich dramatic truthful work.
The course is open to actors aged 16 years and over.
