Uta Hagen’s exercises were designed to be worked on at home. Now with social isolation enforced, we can use the time to do the exercises at home ourselves then apply them to scenes. The classes will be smaller to account for the online medium. The concepts will be applied to monologues and scenes from the comfort of your own home. You’ll use the everyday objects from your life to become vital parts of your scene work.
This successful workshop has been running for over 6 years now and has been adapted for you to work with these world-renowned techniques at home while attending an online meeting for feedback, further exercises and scene-work.
We will focus on creating realistic performance for stage and screen in a fun and supportive environment. This is a great course to add a terrific technique to your skillset or lay the foundations for your work as an actor.
In the Monday night course we with apply inspiring Uta Hagen exercises to scenes. Together we will find what is important to make a scene believable for you and thrilling to watch. Subsequently, we will work to discover how to be you in the given circumstances of every scene you perform.
